After meeting up with Doug, we followed the
coast down to Brisbane, stopping at quite a few Coastal Beaches,
preferably with boat launching facilities. We did a lot of boat fishing
with the best results at Tully Heads, while calling into
Ingham, Townsville, Bowen, Mackay, Serina, Rockhampton, Gladstone,
Bundaberg and Maryborough, and in Brisbane we met up with the
Children that flew up from Melbourne, spent three days with them, and as
Arleen had caught a heavy does of the Flue, we decided to head strait
home from Brisbane, via Casino, Tenterfield, Glen Innes,
Armidale, Tamworth, Gunnedah, and back to Coonabarbran again, then back
home,, From Brisbane to Melbourne
in Three Days
All in all the trip lasted 13 weeks, and we met
some great fellow 'Grey Nomads' and look forward to meeting them again
on our next Trip. I hope that you have enjoyed this trip with us, and
