We decided to use Mareeba, as a base for 3 days, and checked out Milla Milla and Atherton Yungarburra and Milanda, are really Picture towns in Rainforest setting, where visit places like the 'Curtain Fig Tree, that is over 500 years old and Gigantic in size. The area is spiced with many numerous waterfall including the Largest Width Falls in Australia,  just out of Mareeba, while talking waterfalls, we tripped down to Ravenshoe, and checked out their range of falls and Canyons

Nearby is the Karanda Sky Rail and Tourist Train, that traverses the magnificent Mountains and Rainforest Valleys.

The Kuranda Railway Station itself is Planted in every imaginable Tropical plants, making is a must destination for overseas and Aussie Visitors

Bolder Canyon offers spectacular walk along a true white water River, cut from Granite Mountain Range.

The walk is an easy one and paved all the way making it accessible to all. On a very hot day there it is only about 20c on the walk.

It also caters for FREE Campsite for Caravan and Campers for 48hrs, makes it even better!!

The Views from Highways everywhere make the Tableland something to Appreciate
