Our Holiday planning was left completely to WOW! Travel. The Itinerary was the choice of the Staff at Wow Travel, The best choice we have ever made:
We left Melbourne 0n the 28th May and arrived in Anchorage 36hr later. Wow what a trip. Security was VERY high in America, as you can imagine, but at least Travel was safe.
What a beautiful Countryside is Alaska. Our trip is for 21 days, covering the west coast and the interior of the state

The scenery was just fabulous, although we had 20 days of Heavy rain down to a drizzle,, we managed to cope with that.
Most of my photography was in DVD Video, however I got some really good snaps in between the Rain. with Clear shy each day for an hour or so, before it clouded over and rained. We had a wow of a time! and will use them NEXT Trip to 'somewhere!' :-)... We may even let them do the choice....

We did an evening trip along the river to catch the Bears feeding on Salmon - Fantastic Photos + a lot more
Skagway
The best of the lot, a train trip
through the "White Pass" saw Alaska at its best: A lovely frontier
town,
fantastic scenery.
Petersburg
Another Terrific town Lots to see,
We picked up the sea Ferry to Keetchikan
Ketchikan
Where we joined our Cruise ship for 4 Lovely days, Then fly to Seattle to start the flight home

I was fortunate to get a Small Plane flight on a Mail Run up North to the Arctic Circle that was amazing. The bush Pilot was fantastic, we flew trough mountain passes below the fog to get some fantastic viewing of the Ranges and Gorges. and landed on three separate Village compounds that were so Isolated from the rest of the state
